The title reflects wishful thinking that Byfuglien will do us a favor and run Jurco over so he can't play anymore (and Stan won't be able to resign him).
Dare to dream...
Jets 8 Hawks 2, courtesy of another Forsberg/Berube nightmare.
EDIT: Delia called up for the Goalies, Berube sent down. So, 6-2 Jets. The kid will be thrown in midway through the second and only give up one, and look ok.

After which the local beat will claim Delia is the real deal, just like Glass is.

Is a Jurco something you find at a buffet table?

No but if someone tells Buff that he is, maybe Buff will try to eat him.

No but if someone tells Buff that he is, maybe Buff will try to eat him. Maybe. Right. Forsberg will get pulled all right. Delia will let in 1, on the 1st shot he sees.

After which the local beat will claim Delia is the real deal, just like Glass is. The team is a PR machine--they're in such a hurry to get their next marketing star on the team to keep the seats fresh with green-knock-off wearers.

The building is quite dead these days. The last two games I went to there were more noticable empty seats. Very few people stand on their feet to cheer the team as they take the ice for the opening faceoff. Loudest cheers of the night are generally when the t-shirt cannons are out. Even during the shootout the other night, about half the crowd remained seated; not that that is the most exciting thing ever, but in the past everyone was always standing.
Next year's attendence figures will certainly be interesting.
Surprisingly enough though, the cheapest ticket available tonight is $60 on Stubhub (I'm ignoring standing room) Maybe since today is a "Friday" for those who have tomorrow off?

They want to see Laine score a hat trick and beat Ovechkin in the Rocket Richard race.

His stats in the ECHL speak for themselves: 10GP 4.12 GAA 0.887 SV-% So I guess it's safe to say he's an improvement over the current situation.

Since you're there you would know this...from leave your house to get home, what is the time frame for a night of Blackhawks hockey? I would think that with a day off the next day it would be much more palatable to go and see this team such as it is right now without having to sacrifice sleep and travel as much as I would guess some do to attend. Much easier to do it when the team is winning (true in all major markets I would think).

Seabs 1000th NHL game. Crowd will go nuts providing he doesn't pull a Rozy and trip over the Blue Line and break his ankle.

It probably takes me about 45 minutes to get up there from the south suburbs. Then like 30 minutes to get back.

EDIT: the time you leave to go to the game through the time you get home from that game (which seems like you answered just fine in spite of my writing it like I was using a pen that came from jim's anus.)
