Yotes double their total goals scored for the season.
Hawks look uninterested and undisciplined. If it hadn't started already, the Q watch is on.

Lose to a team on home ice that can't score. Classic Fail.

What an awesome trade stan made for Hammer...
Holy fuck does that sum up his incompetence.
Trades away the best value contract on the team under the auspices of cost certainty...for a giant turd slug of a pylon...who saves him maybe a couple hundred K under the cap, but is locked in at a brutal overpayment for another 5 seasons.
Absolutely pathetic cap and asset management.
Murphy is a turnstile that doesn't even belong in the NHL.

Best thing that can happen for this organization. The coaching staff has to go before they can turn the corner into being a contender again. I welcome more terrible losses that expose the coaching. Manning and Kunitz are Q guys. Manning directly involved in two goals against. Kunitz directly responsible for the third. Both guys -2, and both guys belong in the press box. Manning with a great example of how NOT to play a 2-on-1 for "all those young hockey players out there".
The power play? Lmao.....

Yeah, on the first goal Manning might as well not even been on the ice. You either cut off the passing lane or take the shooter. He did neither and just kind of was in no man's land.

How is Manning paired with fucking Jokiharju? That was a train wreck...the kid totally whiffed on the stretch pass, setting up the 2 on 1 for Manning to butcher.
If you arent going to protect the kid with Keith, then send him down.

Still puzzled why Manning was signed at all. He doesn't fit the tunnel vision picture of even a 3rd pair defenseman in the Q world.
And yeah, Kunitz made me proud in a horrific way last night.

A couple of years ago no-one would have cared who plays in the third pair. The top guys handled the load all by themselves.
Now not so much. The top 4 is broken down or traded. Keith is the top guy and he is nowhere near what he used to be. Now it kind of matters who is in the bottom pair, because the top guys can't handle the load.
But I don't think Manning for instance is any worse than the other guys they used to trot out during the dynasty years. Those teams just didn't need to lean on the bottom guys as much. They barely saw the ice in third periods.
I think Manning is a lot better than Rundblad, Tim Erixon, Timonen, Johnsson, Jordan Hendry etc. The reason they lose games, he is not.
It's like last season when people would blame the 4th liners for losing. This year so far it's not been the top 6 forwards that have shat the bed (aside from Saad), but the top 4 D.
