I looked around i dont see anything.. but it will be about 6 months. Same with de haan you might have a repaired seabrook if it doesnt start until july. If both parties are interested.

I don’t think Brent was even skating yet. Last I heard he could do a push up.

Seabrook was confirmed to be out until September at the earliest.
Shaw's head is mush. Any doctor that clears him should get his license suspended for malpractice.

DeHaan would be interesting because he could go for the hat trick of 3 shoulder surgeries in one calendar year.

Shave your Corona beards, its time for Playoff Beards! Not so fast. Playoffs supposedly won't start before August.

Given how innocent the play looked that De Haan re-injured his shoulder on, I'd be surprised if theyre able to reconstruct it to the point he can carry on with his career long term.

And agreed on the doctors and Shaw. He should be done.

Yeah, it seems his shoulder is the definition of "Fragile" now. His next injury like this may mean the end of his career.

Hawks have to technically win this play-in series to actually qualify for the real playoffs...but...I am sure the braintrust won't let this 'playoff berth' go to waste....

The draft lottery seems more interesting to me. Teams might throw the play in round if you have a scenario where the team finishing 9th moved up to 2.

I think it's designed to make sure the play-in round isn't counted as "playoffs" in terms of players and coaches bonuses. It is, for all intents and purposes, playoffs, but if the losers of the play in round get into the draft lottery, then people won't get certain bonuses.
Unless they come up with some specific language around bonuses, that will likely be the bar.

Hes only player on IR that had a timetable, 3-4 months in december. So in theory he should be as 100% as he can be? Shaw all conjecture...no info on him, maybe he can play , maybe hes mush. This playoff play in all for money, probably need the extra 50 games to hit the amount of calendar year tv games to not pay back sponsorship deals etc. Regardless im excited hockey, and the hawks are playing. They get bounced so what, better than nothing.
