Good game to watch. To their credit, Hawks seemed to play a full 60 minute game for a change. Looked like a playoff game. Rinne does a pretty good job of covering the bottom of the net. Nevertheless, the $10.5M boys with 0 points. And, haven't seen much this year that suggests that the Hawks could get by either Nashville or St. Louis in the playoffs. Bubble team...out in the 1st round.

I had no problem with Wingels on the ice in the end. He actually seems to give a fuck.
This was a winnable game for the Hawks, if not for Kane wasting so many chances, and then that penalty of course. Penalties like that always end up getting converted. And that was the GWG, no less.
There was some of that advertised dirty Forsberg on Forsberg action to start the game. That's a dangerous line for the Preds. But I think Turris will also help, as he's a legit #2C.
A.Forsberg played quite well. Certainly gave the Hawks a chance to win. Had he stopped that Josi shot, this would have been an EXCELLENT game.
I'm not confident the Hawks can beat this Preds team in the playoffs. Or at least there will have to be either an unlikely improvement in performance or a major upgrade at the deadline. Or, you know, fifteen simultaneous injuries for Nashville players.

If the Hawks can get Phoenix in the first round, it's all good.

Preds still the better team...No reason to think 'we' could win a playoff series from them or............
