I was waiting to see if someone started a thread because I don't think my record is too good when I do that 0-2 vs, Vegas anyways.. Rivalry Night on NBCSN. Hawks need to take down these chumps, hopefully no overconfidence hangovers from last night barrage.

This is why this rule needs to go away. You shouldn't even be able to challenge that far back.

I'm really surprised that ended up counting. But fuck offside challenges, so I'm good with it.

Hawks PP halts any momentum they had going up until that point.

Hawks dominated that period in pretty much every aspect of the game. North Stars lucky to be down 1.

Hawks by far the better team in the first. But 40 minutes to go. I would have liked another goal here. The refs will be looking to make up that Seabrook goal to the Wild. And Boudreau will yell and shout a thousand fucks to his team during the intermission. I don't know if it motivates them, but they'll at least be pissed off coming in to the second period.
Hawks defense is not in too much trouble. The Wild offense seems pretty rotten. Only one line (the Granlund line) seems to be able to create anything.
So far I've liked the 7 d-man setup. Distribute the ice time better and it also means Oesterle doesn't constantly play top minutes like he has lately, paired up with Keith.
And double shifting Kane seemed to work - the Wild get no break from Hawks offense. Even that third line of DeMidget - Mein Kampf - Sharpie looks like they are generating chances.
Maybe Kane needs to alternate with another forward to take turns playing with Wingels and Bouma, otherwise he could tire and give the Wild an opportunity.

Gutless faggots let them come back.
Hawks have been moving the puck around well, but there's no-one going to the net.
Also, Toews sucks.

Still the better team after two periods, but the score doesn't reflect that.
The Hawks need to win this game. Fairly huge playoff implications at play.

Wild with best chances on Hawks PP. Wild win 2-1. Hawks no net presence also....just perimeter play.

2017-2018 season in a nutshell. Beat up on the sisters of the poor but can't beat any teams that the Hawks are chasing or need to beat to create distance in a potential playoff push.
