Nice way to increase Anisimov's trade value there. Might as well play him 3rd pair defense.

I do love watching this team when I have money against them. Clockwork.

Coaching decisions are criminally negligent at this point. Q hates DeBrincat, apparently. Even though he's the best goal scorer on this team, and works his ass off. He has scored 26 goals as a rookie playing 12 minutes a night, in spite of Q. Typically by being out there with guys NOT on his line.

I have it on good authority from Mark Lazerus that Q did a masterful job of appropriately sheltering DeBrincat this season to allow him to blossom the way he has. And that's why he shouldn't be fired.

Haha. Well played. Lazerus is such a fucking puppet. Q has absolutely no idea how to handle offensively gifted players. None.

Another home loss ho hum glad to see #10 score to tie and a SO goal. You had a Nice career see ya at the bar. Meanwhile The expansion Knights clinch a playoff spot, while Hawks can't wait for their miserable season to die the slow painful death that it has become.

They said Sharp set up Debrinkat's first career goal...and Debrinkat sets up what could be Sharpie's last career goal (my thought, not the broadcasts statement).
I enjoyed the OT. Most fun I've had watching a Hawks game in some time.
I didn't mind this loss as much as many others this year.

The three-on-three OT is always a good source of action. I don't think I would want it at that pace for a full 60 minutes (I don't think the players could do it and the action would probably regress quite a bit with players conserving energy).
It's a fun way to end a regular season contest. The SO is stupid and if they lost that and ended games in a tie after an OT it wouldn't bother me a bit.

3 on 3 OT us only palatable because its a half step up in gimmickery from the fucking shootout.
