Both Heyward and Darvish. What was Theo thinking? Heyward looked to be trending up (StLoo fans in an uproar when he signed here). Darvish's mechanics are so inconsistent.

Darvish was a choker in TX, as well.

Dodgers are in trouble, -7 games back, and I doubt they get out of it because Arizona is dominating right now.
In addition to K.Jansen sucking and the pen unable to hold a lead, the IR is getting full. Puig, Ryu,Turner,Kemp,Forsythe are all injured. 5 years in a row as West Division champs is a pretty good run though.

...then the Dodgers go out and piece together a combined No Hitter with their top pitching prospect Walker Buehler leading the way.

Ouch, Molina takes a foul tip right in the sack and has to have emergency surgery to remove a blood clot.
Every male in the country felt that one except Gary. His testes have been in a jar for awhile now so he doesn't remember what it feels like to take one in the gonads.

And the Cubs managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory again.
This lineup is no different from last year, a bunch of free swingers without an approach at the plate. Barring a shake up trade, I just don’t see how they’re title contenders this year, especially with the garbage back end of this starting rotation.

They don't take spring training seriously for a good reason. Wait for the 2nd half. They need to stay at 0.500 though.

They are lucky they are in the division they’re in, and while I admit it’s still early, outside of the bullpen there are pretty legitimate questions all over. Lester and Hendricks seem fine at the top, but Q and Yu have been awful with no real signs of turning it around. The offense is swing happy again, with no leadoff hitter and dwindling power threats throughout. What on earth has happened to Contreras and Russell? 1 HR combined through almost mid-May is a death sentence for this lineup.

Poor Cup design.

And another blown save last night with the 2 out, 2 strike, 2 run HR to Fowler.
No offense in sight and 3/5th of the rotation is in shambles. Could be a long year if things don’t change fast.

AL Central has both the White Sox and Royals in it and yet the Indians are in 1st place with a record of 17-18.
Yikes.

Both Heyward and Darvish. What was Theo thinking? Theo has a history of overpaying free agents. Carl Crawford, Edgar Renteria, Dice-K were among his big payouts that busted in Beantown.
