It was "Soft Shell Sunday" and my local taco joint. Missed the game but it sounds like that was a description for Q's 3rd period strategy.

Well I'm guessing they were tired but a positive if Ward only gave up 2 goals in 60 + minutes.

McJesus really staking his claim for best player in the game
Thst OT shift kinda showcased his growing maturity. Was covering 19 at the Oil blue line when Jonny peeled off to change...instead of heading to the bench, he identified Saad as a threat and raced from the Hawk bench to chase him down from behind, muscled him off the puck (preventing a prime scoring chance) and then forced a turnover to Draisatl...who took it the length of the ice and then fed McD for the OT winner. He showcased the whole toolbox there.

Coaching continues to be the biggest problem with this team. It's not doing them any favors Awesome to put your team in less than optimal position to win...every single night.

Coaching continues to be the biggest problem with this team. It's not doing them any favors Awesome to put your team in less than optimal position to win...every single night. The Hawks had five power plays in this game....and generated....TWO FUCKING SHOTS ON GOAL. Six minutes of PP time in the first period and....4 shots on goal the entire period??? I'm not sure people realize how fucking pathetic that is, or how much that inept power play affects the rest of their game. This coaching staff is fucking clown shoes and should have been fired after last season. But here we are.

It’s the same boring, static PP of years past, nothing has changed.
Have 4 guys line up flat footed in the neutral zone while Kane skates it up. From there you can bank on a one time from the point in to someone’s shin pad, or the classic back door stuff attempt down low. Make sure to have the F’s as close to the end boards as possible with one body in front. If this board can figure it out then I can only imagine how easy it must be for a professional coaching staff to game plan for it.
Watch the best PP’s in the league. They’re fast, constantly moving and utilize a lot of touch passing. Q and staff have refused to do anything the past several seasons, and the results speak for themselves.
