Montreal is in a playoff battle and are happy to get these two easy points tonight. The Hawks will naturally roll over immediately in the first 10 minutes. But will then put in minimum effort to not get booed, and make the final score a little prettier.
How about these numbers: Hawks PP 11.5% Hawks PK 73.3%
That's almost tumor people -worthy.

Tumor people! Yeah they are about ready to return...
Hawks 4 Habs 1. The Habs are due for a bed shit against a bottom feeder like the Hawks. Hawks won't play any better than any other game lately they'll just somehow gain two points.

Connor Murphy is set to makes his season debut. Is that the boost the Hawks need to make the playoffs?

Connor Murphy is set to makes his season debut. Is that the boost the Hawks need to make the playoffs? A young, healthy Bobby Orr would have a hard time making this a playoff team.
Hawks have 52 games left, they'd have to win 37-38 of the remaining games to make it. Not gonna happen.

That's because Stan would trade him for a package that includes busts picked in the 1st round and Swedish puck-moving d-men.

This may be their only chance at winning in December. All signs point to this being a win, but I still say they find a way to bungle this one.
3-2 Habs in OT

All signs point to this being a win What signs are you talking about? The Hawks excellent special teams? The return of Murph? Or the fact that Montreal is on a win streak?

Of all the remaining games in December? This is the only one I can really see them winning.
Hawks long overdue for a win, Habs due for a loss. It’ll have to happen at the UC.

Habs just swept Ottawa home and home and this is a classic trap game...plus, hawks are ridiculously overdue to fall somehow into a win. Something has to give tonight...habs have been rottenin their last 10 or so trips to the UC and the Hawks have just been rotten...they may well take this one. Battle of 2 overrated goalies. If this goes to form, it will be something like 3-2 hawks in extra time

Hawks wish they were the Habs right now who are a middling .500 team in a playoff race. Can't predict a win until they win
