The Sabres haven't won 2 in a row since October (and they just blew a 3-1 Home Ice lead against Oilers and lost 4-3) and they have minimal NHL Forwards, few decent D Men and sub par goaltending. Sound familiar? Hawks, well we all know their sad story but this is a game they should win at home. Bragging rights for the winner here. Woo Hoo!

At least the Sabres have two young franchise forwards to build upon.
It's games like these that I miss fighting the most. Nothing much to get excited about. Who even cares which team wins? Big saves and some blood is all I can wish for.

I meant to say franchise players, not forwards. Dahlin is a defenseman.

Wow, Hawks up 2-0 after 1 in what looks like a pre season game. But this has to be an all time low in game thread interest here.

Luckily for those who will watch the playoffs, neither of these teams will make it. Oooo-oo, that smell.........

Meh. Two evenly matched shitty teams playing for nothing. And of course the Hawks had to win the shootout.
I mean, I'm all for trying to beat your opponent and win the hockey game, but when it gets to a gimmick, might as well throw the match. That's not even a real win anymore. Hutton at least understood the situation.

So did the Hawks win the Losers Cup? Or does it go to the loser?

Ha Ha. What has happened to The Hawks PP? They had their shit together for awhile in fact it was the only shit they had together all season. I don't see them setting up #12 on the open wing Ovechkin Style anymore. What a miserable season. I wonder if they have cut Stan his bonus check yet?
