huge game tonight, lots of playoff implications hard to stop renberg, big john leclair the orginal #88. trent klatt and brindamour really provide some great shutdown 2 way play. ex hawk karl dykuis and chris therian will be tough match up for the hawks 2nd line.
Garth snow in goal tonight. get a break from hextall.
hoping daze can have a big game tonight. gonna be a tough one for jeff shantz too.
(holy fuck the 97 hawks were putrid)

Podein - Otto - Klatt was a great shutdown line.
And was that the year they iced the "Dan Line" with Dan Kordic - Daniel Lacroix - Scott Daniels? Always fun.

It was difficult not to sympathize with the '97 Flyers. Obviously I was rooting for them in the Cup Finals. The enemy of my enemy is my friend type of situation for sure.

I'd love to see new jack bring his trash can full of weapons on the ice to see if he could "convince" the Hawks to play some D....
Philly 6 Hawks 2.

Both teams are dreaming of the playoffs, both conferences really only have 1 spot somewhat available. Both teams will be on vacation soon but it could be a battle if they both show they care. Flyers & Hawks have similar seasons both changed Coaches and both had some good win streaks.

I'm of course talking about DeBrincat.

The Hawks already have their heavy dressed. I'm of course talking about DeBrincat. Maybe Jonny will have a bug up his ass and challenge Gudas. More likely to happen is Gudas checking Toews to the head, then pounding on DeBrincat who comes to challenge him from the bench, while Hayden just watches it all unfold 5ft away. End result: Toews concussed, DeBrincat suspended (with a black eye) and Hayden scratched.
