1. Crawford 2. Nylander will start the season in Rockford. The light bulb is not going to go on for him. 3. Keith's partner will again be Gustafsson, and that pairing will be more problematic this year, resulting in a switch by November. 4. Perlini will start the season in the press box due to Sikura or Dach making the opening night lineup at forward 5. Shaw will center Saad and Sikura Why Sikura? 'We" already have enough guys that struggle to score. Just a feeling. The guy has already received more chances than he should have, and Colliton seems to be infatuated. Personally I would rule out all undersized floaters who are not lights out goal scorers, but if they want a team defensive approach, it plays to Sikura's skill set more than say Perlini. I don't hate Sikura, I just don't see right now how he fits longer term unless he can score. It sounds like Colliton is going to error on two-way players, and in that regard, Sikura has the advantage over a lot of these other players (granted, I don't know about Wedin and some others). Hopefully Dach comes back healthy and wows everyone - then the discussion is academic.

1. Crawford 2. Absolutely. 3. Gus 4. Perlini will be a healthy scratch. 5. Hawks are heavily promoting Shaw right now, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's with Kane & Toews to start off the year. Crawford started. Nylander's on the top line Gus playing with Keith Perlini is a healthy scratch Shaw is with Strome & Debrincat.

Nylander messed up your prediction on number 5. I personally went 0/5.

Give a shit level seriously lacking. I've never seen Jonny trail so many plays. Last time we saw that it was injury related. Not a great sign to start the season, but hopefully it is "WTF, why not start the season in Europe because we can blahs."
