Game isn't until Friday. But about time we move on from the preseason thread.
Now, it's that fresh new season smell. When there is still hope left.
The Colliton Hawks are still in a fragile place. They need this win and the flight home will be much more pleasant. Start with a loss and you're already behind the pack, in a hole. And everyone in that plane is a loser. Don't be a loser, Jeremy.
Carter Hart was exposed by Lausanne. 4 goals in 25 minutes. Just throw some pucks at the net early and watch him implode.

Not sure why pro leagues have to have openers in other countries..oh could it be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$?
I have no clue who wins this game but based on last season both teams will need every point they can scrounge up. How about a shootout to entertain the foreign crowd. Bettman will rave about the fans enthusiasm and dream of expansion to all of Europe someday. "Hockey is truly a Global Game" he will spew out of his brainless mouth $$$$$$$$$.
