So what's the over/under on shots allowed tonight? 35? 60?
Preds 5 Hawks 1. Armdancer panic (not Richard) will ensue on Saturday morning.

Feels like a loss. Scoring even one goal against these assholes requires a herculean effort. The Hicks have better depth and solid D, so the Hawks top guys need to perform and actually produce some goals tonight to stand a chance.
At least one even strength goal from both the Toews and the Kane line.

Hawks already got their revenge on Hicks so a loss is looking quite possible. I'm starting to believe Q's shelf life is expiring. It happened to Joe Girardi and other than a College Coach how many Pro Coaches last this long? Time for a chair in the suite for him.

The only chance of Q being fired this season is if the team misses the playoffs. As long as they make it, he will have bought himself at least another season. If it's a first round exit, then he'll be much more in danger on the hot seat.
But even if they miss the playoffs, I could see the Hawks still go into the following season with him, only firing him if there's a slow start.

Notwithstanding Q's supposed line changes, Hawks can't overcome their own lack of talent & Preds clogging the neutral zone.

What are the special combos for tonight? "Alex DeBrincat was moved up to the right wing next to Jonathan Toews, with Brandon Saad remaining on Toews’ left wing. Richard Panik flipped sides and was on the left wing next to Nick Schmaltz, who still had Patrick Kane on his right wing. Artem Anisimov remained the third line center with Patrick Sharp as his left wing, but John Hayden joined them on the right wing. The fourth line was comprised of, from left to right, Lance Bouma, Tommy Wingels, and Ryan Hartman. The defensive pairings got moved around as well. Duncan Keith was skating with Jan Rutta, Gustav Forsling was paired with Brent Seabrook, Michal Kempny teamed with Connor Murphy, and Jordan Oesterle joined Cody Franson on the final D pairing. The early assumption here is that the Oesterle/Franson duo will be the scratched players for Friday night’s game against the Nashville Predators. " - www.secondcityhockey.com (from Thursday practice)

At times it sounds like the arena is as quiet as a library. I hate the white collar on the red uni's .Just a stupid look for the sake of change. All of the sudden this team can't score.

Could the PP be any lazier? Just throw it back to Seabrook, fire away and hope for the best.

Yes, they certainly do. 0-6 on the PP tonight. Lots of perimeter shots or blasts from the point....pointless. No one in front of the net....pointless. 6 penalties of their own...stoopid. On the upside...Hawks most got through the neutral zone.....just no real plan after they entered the zone. Toews whined all night. Penalty against Hawks....whine. Tossed from the circle...whine. He's sucked the last two years. OK .... he's a good defensive center...but certainly that's not worth 10M+/yr. Yes, that's it, he's now kinda like Kruger, a muck-it-up, kick-it-around grinder....oh, yes....and an penalty killer.....awesome.
