The Flames are now frolikless. I would imagine the Hawks have a shot here, but they can't start the game drunk like with Detroit.
This is not a Hawks team that can come back from 0-5 like the 2009-10 Hawks did.

I'm going to curse the hawks and say that they will win tonight.

Hawks down 2-1 after 2. Flamers controlling 2nd period. Talbot stoned Kane on several scoring chances. That's pretty much their O so far

Hawks deserved to lose. No offensive pressure what so ever. One and done on the rushes. I know dach is only 18 but he needs to practice his passing and receiving of the puck. Seems like every pass to him he missed. Only positive was they killed two long 2 man short handed situations with Crow making 2 hilite saves.

Strome being out likely for a few games at least will stress offensive production.

What did Nylander do to deserve being put back in the lineup?

What did Nylander do to deserve being put back in the lineup? He's got pictures. Jonny played real well.

Hawks deserved to lose. No offensive pressure what so ever. One and done on the rushes. Pretty much this. Hawks unable to sustain any pressure. Made the night too easy for the Flaming Homos. Toews seemed like the best Hawk of the night. Kubalik scored but was also a major factor in the game tying goal, in a negative sense. Starts to both second and third period were awful. What do they do during intermissions? Something disturbing that specifically makes you lose focus of the game? Shave each other's pubes? That's my guess at least. Crow was bad on the goals, but then played well in the third when everyone else was garbage, so I guess it evens out. At least he didn't lose the game - he did give them a chance. One goal, on home ice, against a team you need to beat to get to the playoffs ...it's not enough.
