What are implications of flat cap for the next two years and no compliance buyouts? Didn’t Stan figure on the cap being 90 million plus by now when he gave 88 and 19 the keys to the franchise? Last time I checked there is only one Ottawa to serve as dumping ground for bad contracts.

Hawks contract situation is pretty good actually. Saving a lot on goaltending alone.

Crow is awesome, but it's time for him to retire.

Crow is awesome, but it's time for him to retire. Disagree. Give him 1, maybe 2 years, about $4millonz per. Until we know we have a replacement.

So there's a chance players like Kaapo Kakko and Max Domi are not allowed to play because they are in a "risk group" (diabetes).
Any Hawks in this group?

www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/nhl-nhlpa-cba-extension-1.5639759 the NHL and NHLPA reached a tentative agreement Monday to resume the season and extend the CBA for four yearsThe coronavirus has actually helped the two sides come together. Neither teams or players want to get into a long labour war and risk losing a season. Players are allowed to opt out of Phase 3 and Phase 4 without penalty but have to notify their team this week.Any lazy ass Hawk who would potentially use this clause? I know Potsy would have been all over it.

Excited to see an fc dallas(that mls team no one knew !) situation play out where too many guys have the death and the team is forced to quit. I hope it cancels the finals.

If 23 other NHL teams withdraw due to the virus, the Hawks can win the 2020 Cup! There is a chance!
Actually, 22 teams. I think the Hawks could take the Canadiens. If one team survives without an outbreak, it should be them. Hawks in four.

I'd rather tank for that 12.5% chance at the #1 pick...

I'd rather tank for that 12.5% chance at the #1 pick... Amen to that. Of course, if the Hawks pick 16th, it's on you.
