I'd rather tank for that 12.5% chance at the #1 pick... Amen to that. Of course, if the Hawks pick 16th, it's on you. If the Hawks lose to the Oilers, the worst they can draft is 10th, I believe. The winner of the draft gets #1. Then it's the seven non-playoff teams, and if Montreal loses their series (and doesn't win the lottery), Habs draft 9th, Hawks 10th.

www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/nhl-nhlpa-cba-extension-1.5639759 the NHL and NHLPA reached a tentative agreement Monday to resume the season and extend the CBA for four yearsThe coronavirus has actually helped the two sides come together. Neither teams or players want to get into a long labour war and risk losing a season. Players are allowed to opt out of Phase 3 and Phase 4 without penalty but have to notify their team this week.Any lazy ass Hawk who would potentially use this clause? I know Potsy would have been all over it. Hamonic opts out:

There won’t be playoffs anyway due to large increase in cases.

There won’t be playoffs anyway due to large increase in cases. Seriously, they should just blow off this season.

In case there was any confusion, the Hawks have officially made the playoffs. WOO!
Now they can do what the Blues did last year - come from out of nowhere and win the Cup.

Matinee games every day. But only two arenas means very little overlap. Might not have to move from the couch for a good 11-12 hours. How much is that in beers?

Assuming the NHL can carry this off (certainly not a given), between hockey and playing golf, i dont know how much time i'll have for anything else.

The 12-4-8 idea makes sense until the first triple overtime game happens. I'd hate to be waiting around for that to finish to go play.
