If the Hawks get past the Oil, they are going all the way because it means one of Delia or Subban turned into Ken Dryden after the layoff.

We'd be lucky if one of them turned into Steve Dryden and wrote a nice piece in The Hockey News on the Hawks losing 3-0.

Alex doesn’t seem like a player that would market well in Chicago not do I get the generational talent feeling. Reminds me too much of Stamkos which is a bad thing. If by chance the Hawks do end up with the # 1 pick, I’d see if Ottawa wants to give up 3 and 5 plus some other futures for the number 1. Then you can take Drysdale and Stutzle or something like that.
Next few years depth is going to separate the better teams from the garbage ones. I want a stable of young guns on ELCs not to be top heavy like Toronto.
