Are we buying the 'official' narrative that he has 'vertigo"?
Or is he, perhaps, suffering from more of an 'elbow injury'?

I asked this before. More of a random thought. I don't remember the answer about whether or not he would have to be admitted into a rehab program by the NHL which would make it public knowledge.
If they are trying to do it on house that's probably a real can of worms.

Gotta love The NHL Injury status reports. Upper Body Injury or Lower Body Injury. Take a guess of which body part above or below the waist it is?

There's obviously something more to this story than what is being made public. Not going to speculate, but Toews' comment about "caring about him as a teammate first" makes me believe there's something personal going on as well. We probably won't know for a while, if we ever find out exactly what was going on.

When you don't know for sure, the best thing is to come up with more and more outrageous theories. And then pass them on as fact.
Or was that "the most fun thing"?

Corey Crawford did a Q&A with The Athletic. Corey Crawford on why he retired, Blackhawks career, IceHogs ceremony, life after hockey: Q&AJust a few here: Did you have any hard feelings about the Blackhawks not re-signing you? Was that tough to get over at all?
Oh, man, I was in tears for days. I was heartbroken. That was definitely tough. But I don’t know, it’s hard to say what … I still haven’t talked to Stan (Bowman) or anybody from management about it. ..... I wanted to play with Jersey. Mentally, I just couldn’t. From the medication, it’s tough to say. … Honestly, it was a little embarrassing because no one really understands that part, right? It’s easy to say, “Oh, my leg is broken or this and that.” When you’re explaining that stuff, no one understands or only a certain amount of people understand. I just mentally was done. I almost lost my mind. That’s hard, I didn’t exactly know what was going on. I lost my mind, to be honest, being on those medications. Even coming off them was worse, off the benzos. It was tough. I felt horrible for Jersey too to put them in a bad spot..... That medication was what you were given post-concussion?
NHL doctors originally put me on stuff. I was having a lot of bad symptoms and anxiety and all that stuff from that one (concussion) I missed a lot of the year. I was off and on that medication. But when I came off of that stuff, symptoms would pop up way more. ... Hossa couldn’t persuade you to come out to Slovakia?
You know what? I can’t play. I could have maybe tried, but I go down a few times and I probably throw out my back.
