Now this is a game they should win. Maybe. Possibly. Hopefully.
Vandouchver is still a giant enema of vaginal seepage birthing itself from the anus of the hockey world, and the Hawks need to put it together just once and win this one big.
Because, fuck Vandouchver.

Canucks can't even consider re-signing the Sedins, can they? I wonder if they go back home finally as a pair of course.

Well if they wanted to stay on a 1 year 1-1.5 mil contract or something, for sentimental reasons, then I'd keep them. Why not? 35-40 points for that kind of money would be a good deal. Their icetime was reduced greatly for most of the season (especially early), so they are trending the icetime towards the young guys already...and having them in a third line scoring role (probably second if they don't sign any scorers as UFAs) for that price isn't a bad deal. Of course they could also offer themselves as a pair at a similar rate to a contender to try and get a Cup, if such things matter to them.

The Chicago Blackhawks are proud to introduce Daniel and Henrik Sedin as forwards for the 2018-2019 season.
Stan Bowman, "We are excited to have been able to go into free agency and sign both Daniel and Henrik. They have been excellent players for a long time in this league, and we feel the 3 year deals at a annual cap hit for 4 million each was too good of a deal to pass up. I cannot take credit for these acquisitions. I have to thank khawk20 at the 300 Level for this recommendation. We are also working on re-signing Patrick Sharp and Michal Rozsival to 2-year contracts at this time and will keep the Chicago Blackhawk fanbase informed when these contracts have been finalized."

If you think I had to give Simple Stanley that idea, you don't know our illustrious GM well at all.

Apparently Captain Shoulder is out the next couple games with an "upper body injury". I wonder if it was of the 'too many Ripper McGoo's ' kind like Crawford?
