Did I miss him get the ban-hammer or was he just triggered by all the microaggressions and he left?

As suspected, the coaching staff has again found a way for Hayden not to be in the lineup.

I get the uneasy feeling that Hayden will end up flourishing someplace else...if Q and co don't ruin him before that.

Unpredictable. Both teams should suck this year, so could be a good game. Will #19 have a bounce back year or has he really hit the wall? Can 4 & 7 still play at a decent level? Will Q get fired soon? Can Saad make us forget about whom he was traded for?

Q says Blackhawks are calling up Collin Delia to back up Cam Ward. Forsberg got hit by a puck, out for tonight.
A goalie that got hit by a puck. Interesting.

Rutta was a different player before his injury and to my eye was one of the better defensive blueliners pre-injury. If he is truly more the first couple months player, he can fill a top 4 role and not embarrass himself. The more they see positive out of Rutta and the rookie, the less pressure on Seabrook.
A bigger concern is where the goals come from if the opposition focuses (correctly) on shutting down the Kane line, especially on the road, and particularly if the power play continues to be a goat festival.

The unfortunate truth is that one lengthy injury to a major player (19, 88, 2) and this squad is in serious trouble against pretty much every opponent.
