Yup. Hopefully it's a good one and one of the pitchers doesn't lay a turd.

Employment and growth in the stock market have continued on the exact same trajectory under 3 years of Trump as they did under the final 6 years of Obama...the Simpleton has really nothing to do with it. He is good for a daily laugh, watching him try and form complete sentences. On economic matters, the President actually doesn’t matter much at all. It’s all on the Federal Reserve and their policies. I mean the debt increased 12 trillion or so since 2008 so where does it go other than not the average person’s pocket? Ahhh...the Fed...donny just fired the Chair and hand-picked his successor...and tweets every other day how hes a fuck up for not lowering rates... Soooo...what Donny wants is quantitative easing...exactly the same policy he ripped obana for... Sigh....

What a fucking series...and great game 7 to decide it.
First 7 game series in professional sports history where the first 6 games were all won on the road.

Great world series - would have been OK if Houston had won, but I'm all in for the Nats winning the big prize. It could well be a one and done as the Nats are going to have a FA purge on their best players.
Washington won with better pitching, plain and simple, clutch hitting and guys at the top of the order finding a way to be on base. Amazing concept. I also love it that Bryce Harper watched it from his couch.

Great Series, I had no dog in this fight. It will interesting to see the TV ratings for this. Strasburg lived up to his draft status and took them to the promised land.

Great series...despite all but one game being a blowout.
Viva les Expos!

Is it true most up in Montreal hate the Nats franchise? One of the hosts on the Score last night was saying as much.
Great series, agreed. Incredible to think that was first time across all major sports that in a 7 game series the road team won every game.

I feel badly for the peeps in Houston, but Nats just took it. Enjoy those Cheesesteaks, Bryce.

Here is one guy that kind of wishes Dave Martinez was the dugout guy that stayed after 2016. I like Joe Maddon the person, but Martinez showed me a lot in this series. Good for him.

Great game 7. The irony of the Nats winning on the Astros bullpen imploding was pretty damn funny.
Wonder how much Cole is going to get this offseason. Should be a record deal but with owners tightening the ol' purse strings, I'm guessing 6 years $150 million or theres about...

He’s also going to be 30 with his best years behind him and has been throwing a ton of innings the last few years.

I think over time, most wounds have healed...most fans still follow the team or at least the sport...there is a solid baseball culture in Montreal. Every year the Jay's sell out 2 exhibition games there in advance of their season opener.

Agreed, good for Davey. Took a lot of heat earlier in the year when they were well underwater. Good guy who deserves the results. Cubs will have their good pal as manager and not spend a dime this offseason with Ricketts doing his best Rocky impression and crying poor.

He's already been on 670 & 1000 saying that spending more money won't make the team better, so yeah. Short of a huge shakeup, like a trade of one or two of the team's established stars, the window is likely closed on the Northside.
