I would be surprised if Bryant does not abandon the Cubs ship. With Boras as agent, there is little chance that the player/agent and Cubs agendas will be in sync, especially with the Cubs doing the smart short-term thing and retaining another year before free agency.
Separately the Darvish performance last night was huge from several perspectives. Hopefully sets the table for them to tie the series today.

They have looked terrible on this road trip, but can’t come back home any worse than 1 game out, which is a huge plus.
Clearly outclassed by the Dodgers this series in all facets of the game, can’t imagine them lasting anything more than 5 games with them in an NLCS.

How poetic that Eloy ends up downing the Cubs his first game at Wrigley. What a brilliant trade of him and Cease for a 4th starter.
Cubs best attribute is being in a mediocre division at this point. A shake up trade is needed, but can’t imagine them doing anything more than adding another reliever.
Offense seems to be just as broken as it was in Sept 2018.

Can't say anything bad about the Quintana trade. Cubs won the World Series. Did they give up a lot, yes. Worth it. They can cut CarGo anytime, and get a bat or 2. Another reliever would be good.

Quintana trade was mid 2017 season. They should’ve been able to get an actual top tier starter for that package.
They definitely need another bat in the OF, can’t keep trotting our two auto outs in Almora and Heyward to go along with the pitchers spot.

Got Chapman for the push (I KNEW it was a lefty) and gave up a lot. Again, worth it.

The move that will be made is Maddon out the door if this trend does not change.
The reality is the team has no offensive creator at the top of the lineup that is an engine starter for the offense (without a ton of strikeouts), and the pitching is the predictable result of an organization that is subpar at drafting and developing pitchers. Kimbrel will solve a lot of problems, but he will not solve scoring 1 run against the White Sox.
If it were me, if they're not going to solve the "creator" problem, then put your best defensive outfielders on the field every game and spot play the others. Not sure why they need Carlos Gonzalez - more of what they already have.
There is plenty of time to make corrections and they are still in a good position, but this June swoon is getting old.

Nice debut for Azolay last night. Could be a nice power arm addition to the pen once Hendricks comes back.
